Privacy Policy
Therapeutic Cocktails (therapeutic-cocktails.com) is a content website about craft drinks, culture, and conscious drinking. We take a minimal-data approach: we don't sell advertising, we don't build user profiles, and we don't sell your information to third parties.
What we collect
Server logs. Like every web server, ours automatically records standard access logs — IP address, browser type, referring URL, and the pages you visit. These logs are used solely for diagnosing technical issues and understanding aggregate traffic patterns. They are retained for 30 days and then deleted.
Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics (such as Plausible or a similar service) to understand which pages are visited and from which countries. No personally identifiable information is collected or stored in this process, and no cookies are set for this purpose.
Email. If you contact us at therapeutic.cocktails@gmail.com, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to you. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
Local storage. We store a single item in your browser's local storage to remember whether you have confirmed you are of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction. This data never leaves your device and is cleared when you clear your browser data. No cookies are set for age-gate purposes.
What we do not collect
We do not run advertising networks. We do not use tracking pixels, cross-site trackers, or fingerprinting technologies. We do not collect names, postal addresses, payment information, or any other personally sensitive data. We do not have user accounts.
Third-party services
The site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify's infrastructure processes web requests on our behalf and may log IP addresses as part of its standard CDN operation. You can review Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.
Fonts and other static assets are served from our own CDN and do not involve third-party requests that could track you.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. Because we collect very little data, most requests can be handled simply by clearing your browser's local storage and refraining from contacting us. For any other requests, email us at therapeutic.cocktails@gmail.com.
Children
This site is intended for adults of legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
